Key dates for farmers during the autumn season
Information about important dates during the autumn season from the Rural Support Service area payment calendar:
October 1
- Deadline to submit evidence for meeting the active farmer criteria. Farmers who do not meet the active farmer conditions can submit evidence by October 1 to prove compliance with the active farmer criteria regarding agricultural employees or agricultural activity costs.
- Deadline to submit a declaration for agricultural wages. Farms with agricultural land exceeding 1020 hectares and the basic income support for sustainability exceeding EUR 100 000 can submit a declaration for agricultural wages for the year 2023.
October 31
- Cover crops and grasses, registered under EKO2 scheme, must be maintained at least until this date.
November 15
- From November 15 of this year until February 15 of the following year, a soil cover must be ensured to meet the mandatory LLVS6 requirement of the Conditionality System for the 2025 season. It is also required to meet the conditions for EKO1 or EKO7 support types, if applying through the Geospatial Application. Soil cover can be maintained with planted crops, grasses, keeping stubble, or leaving the area uncultivated after harvesting.
